Lion King Part X

The second time Simba tries to roar a loud lion's roar comes through. Surprised the hyenas hesitate. suddenly, Mufasa comes in and thoroughly trounces the three hyenas to the shock and fear of the two cubs. Mufasa pins the three hyenas between his large paws and traps them. The three immediately start trying to find their way out of the stickly situation. Mufasa silences them with a single command. Mufasa, the picture of an angry, protective father threatens the hyenas with, "If you ever come near my son again..." Shenzi, yet again taking the lead tries to get out of the way and explain and excuse themselves to the best of their ability. This attempt is foiled when Ed answers positive to knowing the identity of Simba.Mufasa's outraged roar tells the hyenas the last straw was reached. The three hyenas take off in fear. Mufasa's power and authority had the strength to remove the danger of the hyenas to Simba and Nala. In real life situations, usually, it is by the power of the devil that people find themselves in great danger. The Devil and his followers do have the ability to overshadow and take control of the human body, if allowed to do so. It is a terrifying prospect, but it does happen. There is a way this can be battled and fought, and that is through the power and authority of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of Christ's divine appointment the Devil must obey the commands of the Savior, or those done in His name.

Like Mufasa having the power to remove the hyenas, the Savior Jesus Christ can remove devils. Matthew 17:18 "And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour." This is and instance of Christ's power over the devil. We can still find other accounts of His disciples casting out the devils in His name. One being named Nephi does so. 3 Nephi 7:19 "And in the name of Jesus did he cast our devils and unclean spirits;"

This is a pretty unique aspect of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Those who hold the priesthood authority can, by the power of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father, command and evil spirit to leave. Though there are those who would profess and claim they can as illustrated by the Savior, Himself. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom  of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.'
"Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in they name, and in they name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works?'
"And then will I profess unto them:I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (3 Nephi 14:21-23) We can find the connecting and Identical Scripture int he Bible as Matthew 7:21-23. In a wordl where almost anything can be fabricated we must be careful and aware of the danger. WE must continually be looking to god and Jesus Christ for our salvation and protection.

Much like Simba and Nala looked to Mufasa for their own safety.
